St Davids Cathedral Sunset, Pembrokeshire, 29th April 2016
St Davids Cathedral is located at the city of St Davids, north of Haverfordwest & not too far from the village of Solva. There has been a church here since the 6th century when Saint David founded the city. The cathedral has been through various changes ever since to how we see it today which included extensions and some areas rebuilt. It was also destroyed by Parliamentary soldiers in 1648, only to be restored & restored between 1793 & 1877. Also next to St Davids Cathedral is the bishops palace, now in ruin but still accessible as a popular tourist attraction. all of the images were taken during an evening sunset.
